Micron Extra - based on Biolux® technology - is a high strength copper based antifouling formulated to offer superior protection in most fouling conditions.
This product has Biolux®: a unique antifouling technology developed by International. It consists of a system of organic boosting biocides incorporated in a highly effective controlled release film.
In true Micron technology it's self polishing formulation ensures continuous renewal of active layer of paint which results in a hull staying cleaner for longer and reduces the build up of old antifouling.
Do not use on aluminium /alloy or zinc sprayed surfaces

A premium strength self polishing cuprous oxide antifouling with Biolux Technology. Offers superior protection in high fouling conditions. Minimal build up due to self polishing technology.

APPLICATION AND USE:
Preparation- All substrates must be clean, dry and free from contaminants. All surfaces should have been primed with the appropriate primers. Suggested primers: Interprotect (two pack) , Yacht Primer or Primocon (single packs).
Method- Apply 2 coats per season on the hull. 3 coats are required on the leading and trailing edges, waterline, rudder and keel. This is important for best performance.

Thinner YTA085 International Antifouling Thinners #3.
Thinning Do not thin unless absolutely necessary.
Cleaner YTA085 International Antifouling Thinners #3.
Ventilation and Humidity Control Ensure adequate ventilation during use.
Airless Spray Pressure: 176-210 bar. Tip Size: 2180.
Other For Airmix spray application: Pressure: 2.5 bar. Tip Size: 20-113. True colour will develop after immersion. For in season maintenance wipe surface with a soft sponge or equivalent. Heavy cleaning operations on a regular basis may remove some paint leading to a reduction of the in-service life of the coating. To prevent premature failure, ensure correct amount of paint is applied using the coverage as a guide. A slight variation in antifouling colour may be experienced when the same product is used as a boot topping compared to the product continually immersed.
Some Important Points:
Not suitable for use over Aluminium/Alloy substrates or zinc-sprayed surfaces Product temperature should be minimum -5°C and maximum 35°C. Ambient temperature should be minimum -5°C and maximum 35°C. Substrate temperature should be 3°C/5°F above dew point and maximum 35°C/95°F.
Compatibility/Substrates:
GRP, Wood, Steel/Iron, Lead. Not suitable for use over Aluminium/Alloy substrates or zinc sprayed surfaces.
