The smooth and powerful gearing combination of MICROMODULE and X-SHIP has been retained, while the level-wind interlocking spool and FALL LEVER produces a stable fall that gives optimal control as the lure descends through the water column. An aluminium HAGANE body provides the strength and durability required to fight large Snapper, while the 150 size line capacity enables use in deeper areas with jigs in the 150-200g range. The Engetsu 150HG is a highly versatile light-jigging reel that is able to respond to a wide range of fields and strategies.

- Level-wind interlocking - The spool and level wind are interlocked. The line is released in a straight line, allowing the lure to fall smoothly. The drag operates smoothly even when fishing with a fine line.
- S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano’s A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.
- FALL LEVER - A newly-designed lever that can easily and accurately control the fall speed. The Falllever enables anglers to fish much more strategically.
