As a homogeneous material, KiwiGrip doesn’t suffer the problems encountered with products filled with sand, walnut shells, beads, rubber fleck, or other fillers. Coatings with fillers tend to wear through, and the fillers fall out — leaving an unsafe deck that’s hard to clean and even harder to re-coat.
As a roll-on product, KiwiGrip is considerably faster and less expensive to apply. Coverage: 2 square meters per liter (80 SF/Gal).
Application:
- Ease of application is a big advantage of KiwiGrip. Detailed application instructions are provided with every can. Our special texture rollers and our non-toxic formula make KiwiGrip very easy to apply.
- Can be tinted with any water based paint.
- Captains Note: Rollers are not easy to clean once paint is partially cured without the extensive use of brush cleaner. It is recommended to complete the coat non stop and immediately wash completely in water and then leave soaked in water discard after second coat. I recommended cutting off the masking tape rather than tearing off due to speed of drying and thickness of coat if a straight edge is required.
