Flushing injector kit is connected inline so that a measured dose of MACS Ultrafilm flushing liquid is injected into the flush water. The kit contains the flushing injector (flushing liquid sold seperately).
MACS is a unique patented system designed to inject a flush water additive, MACS Ultrafilm, into the cooling channels of outboards, stern drives, jet skis and marine motors.
MACS Ultrafilm is a corrosion inhibitor which protects marine alloys from 'pitting' and prevents the surface corrosion of ferrous metals. With the MACS injector attached during engine flush, a layer of MACS Ultrafilm forms and remains in your marine motor, protecting it against corrosion caused by salt or fresh water. The marine anti-corrosion properties of MACS Ultrafilm protect all common metals and alloys. MACS gives all kinds of boat engines a longer, more reliable life.
Unlike simple venturi systems, the MACS Injector has two tubes, a long one for slow water feed and a short one for the uptake of premixed solution via the main water flow.This has the following advantages:
- the Injector works consistently in all water pressures, flow rates and motor sizes.
- the Injector is unaffected by back pressure
- MACS Ultrafilm is already pre-mixed, before injection into the cooling system.
The unit also has these qualities:
- once assembled, the unit is virtually leakproof..
- the glass reinforced nylon body is indestructible.
- the polycarbonate bowl includes easy to read measurements
Instructions for use:

Connect the MACS injector to a water hose and to the motor's flush hose intake.

Turn on the water and start the motor. Run until the motor is warm and the thermostats are open.

With motor and water running, unscrew the injector bowl, discard the water and add the required
volume of Ultrafilm (see table below). Screw the bowl back on.
Ultrafilm will be fully injected into the motor within 30-60 seconds after which the solution cloudiness
will be mostly gone. Treatment is complete.
No further flushing (before or after) is required.
TREAT THE MOTOR AFTER EVERY TRIP AND AT THE START OF STORAGE PERIODS.
For external protection, spray all exterior metal surfaces regularly with Ultrafilm.
