Fish Torpedo Downrigger weights are suitable for average trolling speeds and for using with trolling dredges when Game Fishing.
This is the best dredge weight we have found to keep all dredges down and keeping your favorite squid dredge steady. The wings on the dredge will get you dredge down quickly. Also will keep the dredge down on a strong following sea. As the eyes are threaded, it is advisable to use a wire connecting the 2 eyes, or at least have a safety line from your down rope to your dredge as a safety precaution in-case one of the threaded eyes works out. So far I haven't hearfish dredge weightd of this happening, but it is possible, and as the dredge is a valuable item it pays to be on the safe side!!
