Goldspar Satin is a quick drying, satin finish yacht varnish that is tough, abrasion resistant and fast drying. Goldspar Satin offers many of the same features as its gloss counterpart but dries to a beautiful satin finish.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
A satin finish polyurethane varnish designed primarily for interior use. Resistant to hot water, mild acids and alkalis. The quick drying formulation minimises dust contamination.

Note:If Maximum Recoat Times are exceeded, sand using 320-400 grade (grit) wet or dry paper.
APPLICATION AND USE:
Preparation:
All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contamination.
Hints:
Thinner- YTA800 International Enamel Thinners #1.
Cleaner- YTA800 International Enamel Thinners #1.
Ventilation and Humidity Control- Ensure adequate ventilation during use.
Airless Spray Pressure: 176-210 bar. Tip Size: 1365-1580.
Conventional Spray Pressure: 2.3 bar. Tip Size: 1.1-1.4 mm.
Other: For Airmix spray application: Pressure: 2.0 bar. Tip Size: 06-113. For a particularly clear finish use Goldspar gloss for the first 2 or 3 coats and Goldspar Satin only for the final coat.
Some Important Points:
Product temperature should be minimum 15°C/59°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Ambient temperature should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F.
Compatibility/Substrates:
Suitable for Timber above the Waterline. For interior use only. May be applied after thinning, to naturally oily timbers such as Teak and Iroko after suitable degreasing.

(Practical) - 10.30 (m²/lt) by brush, 9 m²/lt by spray
Recommended DFT- 40 microns dry
Recommended WFT- 87 microns wet
