FUNCTIONAL:
Cold Smoking:  The Smoke Generator produces a consistent, high volume of quality, cool smoke.  Whether cold smoking fish, cheese or putting that finishing touch on your hand crafted salami, cold smoking couldn't be easier.
Hot* Smoking:  The Smoke Generator is perfect for applying a high volume of quality smoke when Hot Smoking (*a separate heat source is required to cook your food when hot smoking).
Smoke volume can be adjusted by changing the setting on the air pump.
 
VERSATILE:
The Smoke Generator can be retrofitted to any suitable food safe structure: a BBQ, grill, wine barrel, hive, smokehouse, electric or gas smoker, old refrigerator, drum,  cabinet, etc.  Check out our Smoker Setups section for tips and ideas.
 
ECONOMICAL:
The Smoke Generator uses gravity fed Woodchip or Smoking Pellets producing a high volume of smoke per Kg.  1 Kg of Woodchip will provide approximately 12 hours of smoking time (on a low pump setting).

1) Hardwood Lid - safely remove the lid to fill hopper at any time.
2) Wide Hopper - assists with gravity feeding the wood to the burn
3) Mounting Bracket - mount onto your smoker or bbq grill. The bracket can be left in place when cleaning or emptying ash.
4) Air Hose - high temperature food safe silicone, will not melt.
5) Air Pump - selected for matched performance because the smoke generator and pump work in unison.
6) Flat Base - gives you the handy option of resting it on the ground.
7) Smokai Modular System - 3 x (for Classic), 4x (for Magnum) precision engineered modular 304 grade stainless steel components lock together. No welds. No hinges. No bent tubes. No wingnuts. No obstacles.   Take apart and re-assemble in seconds while leaving the mounting bracket attached to your smoker/bbq.    Very quick & easy to clean.
8) Retrofit to any suitable smoking chamber, hooded bbq, wine barrel, electric/gas/wood smoker, hive, fridge, drum or cabinet. Cold SMoking: Put simply, it doesn't get any simpler than this! Hot Smoking: Apply a high volume of quality smoke (you'll need a seperate heat source to cook the food).
9) High Volumes of Pure Cool Smoke!  Adjust the volume of smoke by changing the pump settings.


**Smoking times as per the chart: * Smoking time depends on pump setting, wood variety & type of wood fuel used.  On Low pump setting approx. 8 hours using Hickory Wood Pellets, 4 hours using Manuka woodchip.
